Competency Based Personality Assessment

 

PERFORMANCE BASED ON PERSONALITY

Use ASSESS to assist in the selection of candidates, for promotion, placement, development of internal managers, supervisors and professionals.

ASSESS is a state-of-the-art, computer driven expert system that produces full psychological evaluations from any Internet connection for use in the business environment. These tests measure many of the characteristics related to effective performance.


ASSESS MEASURES

Contains 24 scales to evaluate the three key dimensions of personality strongly related to work and everyday life: Thinking, Working and Relating.


Thinking

Reflective/ Probing, Organized / Structured, Serious / Restrained, Objective. Factual, and Realistic / Pragmatic

Working

Energy level, Self-Reliance, Acceptance of Control, Need for Freedom, Frustration Tolerance, Need for Attention, and Detail Interest

Relating

Sociability, Criticism Tolerance, Optimism, Assertiveness, Need to Please / Be liked, Positive about People, Personal Insight, Self-Control and Cultural Conformity

 


Positive Response Factors

Assess provides Personality scale-level results as well as Competency-based interpretations. Results are available in both Developmental and Selection Reports.


COMPETENCY BASED SELECTION REPORT

The selection report describing the personality implications of the respondent’s results on the competencies.

Planning And Organising
Effectively organising and planning work according to organisational needs by defining objectives and anticipating needs and priorities.

Respondent scores falling in the green range indicate areas of strength or “fit” with the competency.
Scores falling in the red or yellow zones indicate areas of concern.



Selection Report
The Selection Report provides an in-depth evaluation of a candidate's assets and liabilities to determine job fit, performance potential and management needs

Competency Based Selection Report*
The system evaluates the candidate's work related personality in relation to the Competency Model of the company.

Screening Report
This report gives a quick overview of the candidate's strengths and weaknesses. The Screening Report is appropriate for use early in the selection process, to "narrow down" the candidate pool from multiple individuals to a few.

Developmental Report
The Development Report is written in a developmental tone so that the report can be given to the individual assessed and provides constructive, objective feedback of assessment results.

Competency Based Developmental Report*
The system evaluates the candidate's work related personality in relation to the Competency Model of the company.

* The competency based ASSESS reports based on the Strategic Success Modelling(SSM). SSM is a process by which an organization, can easily develop a targeted competency model for a position or group of positions, or can update an existing, outdated model.
